Mr. Clarke is the founding partner of the Law Offices of Laurence R. Clarke in Los Angeles, California where he focuses his practice on litigation and alternative dispute resolution. First and foremost, Laurence Clarke is a trial attorney.

He has served as lead counsel in approximately 100 civil jury trials which were tried to verdict; and was admitted to the prestigious litigation organization, the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), in 1975 after just three years of law practice. Since his admission to the California Bar in 1972, Mr. Clarke has served in leadership roles with several civic and charitable organizations.

In addition to his extensive jury trial experience, Mr. Clarke has represented clients in countless arbitrations, mediations, court trials, settlement conferences, depositions, and other legal proceedings. He has extensive education, training, and experience as a mediator and arbitrator, having served as a neutral mediator or arbitrator in over 400 litigated disputes since 1996. He has been repeatedly appointed as a Los Angeles Superior Court Arbitrator and Settlement Officer from 1980 to 1990.

Adjunct Professor of Law at both the Southwestern University and Pepperdine University Schools of Law, 1999 to 2003, teaching dispute resolution, negotiation, client counseling and ethics.

Licensed California Real Estate Broker, 1996 to Present; full-time employment with Title Insurance and Trust Company from 1964 to 1972 while attending college and law school.
